
Customer Sales Representatives & Estimators build strong relationships with potential and existing customers in order to sell product. They visit job sites and prepare quotes based on customers' needs.
Working from both the office and on-the-road, Customer Sales Representatives & Estimators interface with customers to ascertain needs, make recommendations on equipment, gather blueprints, specifications, and related documents to estimate and develop proposals for the customers. They actively, aggressively and consistently call on assigned accounts, developing strong customer relationships. The Sales & Estimating Rep must be highly motivated, willing to generate customer leads, create new accounts, make presentations, and provide technical information to potential customers, vendors, contractors, and dealers. Most Sales & Estimator Reps work within a specific territory based on the size and type of company and work to meet, and exceed, company sales projections.
