
Cooking Equipment Service Technicians provide customer service in the field to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration and/or HVAC equipment.
Cooking Equipment Technicians become a partner and trusted advisor to their customers by consistently delivering innovative solutions to predict and prevent equipment failure of commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and other specialty food service equipment. They perform regular inspections on equipment and report the condition and maintenance status to their customers. Cooking Equipment Technicians must effectively communicate with their customers and manufacutrers to help diagnose and then resolve equipment problems. These technicians often have periods when they are on-call during off-hours to respond to emergency situations. Additionally, Cooking Equipment Technicians must know how all HVAC systems work to maintain a correct test and balance at location.
