Commercial Trainee
Alternate Title: Service Technician Trainee, Installer Trainee

Commercial Trainees assist lead installers and services technicians with the installation and service of various types of commercial HVAC/R equipment and accessories.
Working under the supervision of a Journey-Level HVAC Technician or Lead Commercial Installer, Commercial Trainees help with the installation of new, and servicing of old, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings, which could also include refrigeration systems. Trainees help assemble duct work and fittings, lift/move HVAC/R equipment, stock and maintain company vehicles, and deliver parts to job sites. They conduct work from ladders and operate power tools. This trainee position is an excellent way to learn skills in the HVAC/R industry.
